We haven't eased up on it - it's just that there wasn't enough mods and resources to handle such cases in the past or they were not reported (and we cannot take not of everything that's going on in the discussions). So if you want to, feel free to remove the edit - or don't, it's up to you. I just wanted to let you know that the assumption is incorrect.
The issue has been handled.

If you come across any rule infringement in the future, feel free to report it and provide all evidence you have (links, screenshots). No need to get involved and make yourself a target when help apparently isn't welcome by the user in question.
