Oh, sorry for not elaborating. The games are fine in terms of story, atmosphere and such, at least for me, but the optimization (on PC at least) was an issue. A known one, which is why we got these versions. The games were incredibly laggy, which not only caused headaches, but also resulted in some embarrassing deaths. The combat system in the first one has also been criticized heavily. I don't know if it was fixed later, but trying to stealth your way around there was a nightmare.

I am not a graphics person myself, so any aesthetic enhancements in these versions are not something I need, but I hope the optimization issues and maybe some mechanics were fixed a bit too. Or at least the optimization so I can run them in decent settings and/or without my brain hurting.
