My second giveaway ever. Still learning the ropes.
I hope someone will enjoy this game, it does look fun, but just isn't something I would play personally.
It was a mystery gift from a purchase, and not part of a bundle.
Thank you, I plan to make this a regular thing, not just with Humble leftovers, but I often buy games that seem interesting but have an irresistible sale price, or buy an extra copy if the game seems really fun. I love this concept, on steamtrades and steamgifts. I just wish it was not so flooded with the same things.
So why not add items that are NOT flooding the giveaways? That's the plan anyway.
It was a mystery gift when I purchased another game. I had received a birthday coupon back in February, and when I bought the game I wanted (don't remember what it was) - when I got my steam key, they sent this in the same email. I was tempted to try it, but got busy.
If I remember correctly, it was either Green Man Gaming or GamesDeal. I'll have to look at my old receipts if you'd really like to know who sent me the coupon for the free gift code.
What happens is once you're eligible and you've joined the group, you can filter the giveaways on the giveaway page by "group"
on the left and you will see giveaways from the Unlucky 7 group and any others you may have joined. Because there are far less people in this group than the general steam gifts population, you'll have a much better chance at winning some games. Once you have won 8 games total on steam gifts you have to leave (I'm about to leave myself if I get the key through from my latest win). But until then you have some better odds to help you along with your first few wins. :)
It does look fun, just not my normal gaming type. I have so many games to play and would just never get the full enjoyment out of it that it probably deserves, I hope the winner really does get into it.
