Well, most of those 7 years I was inactive here and just got back this may/june. which only makes it about 6 month.
And I only enter giveaway of games I really would play and not just to add to my collection. Otherwise I probably could have won a lot of those mass giveaways of (crappy/cheap) games.
I've only been here for 8 months, but at the beginning I didn't really know how things worked so I just entered whatever I saw. The first interesting win I had was Cities Skylines but I shortly gave up after nothing was working (population always unhappy). I started to learn that I should probably enter stuff that looks interesting to me beginning with my The Walking Dead win. My latest one (Yooka-Layle) didn't really live up to what I expected, but it sure is interesting, perhaps for another day when I'm feeling bored.
