it have some elements in common, but only a few: crafting (weapons but no base building) and very basic surviving (no food system but surviving the night).
the story it's very cliche but the gameplay and the settings compensate that
just wait for a sale.

I concur... dying light is awesome gameplay wise, although the story kind of sucks

it's kind of sad (or in development hell) to search another studio who will pick up the franchise.

I would also recommend Life is Strange. You can buy first chapter and later decide if you want the rest if you like it. I think it is a game almost anybody can enjoy.

A game that I absolutely loved playing is called Submerged (it's a PC game available on Steam). I checked the system requirements and it looks like your computer could run it fairly well. You probably wouldn't be able to have it at max settings, but it would probably still look really good.
I have about 40 screenshots in my Profile at Steam if you would like to see what the game looks like. There is no combat at all in the game. I'm not sure if that would be a deal-breaker for you, but that aspect of the game did not deter me in the least.

Check out Another World - you have a bunch of platformers on your wish list, and this game is a classic closer to Deadlight than Mario. It's definitely something your PC can handle.
Playing it now for me was nostalgic, plus I actually had the patience to beat the game even though I died a lot. :)

To me , Another World is sort of like Prince of Persia (the original that you might just Trial and Error to beat it.)
I do however like its mechanic , but like you said , you really have to died a lot in order to know what you really need
(NO walkthrough and cheat sheet etc.)

As I see that you have Shadowrun Returns, I would recommend Torment: Tides of Numenera. It's the spiritual successor to my favorite game, Planescape: Torment. Right now it is in Early Access, but I have played the beta and am completely sure it will be fantastic.

Thanks for RPG genre games recommendation , but I do however , pick up Shadowrun cause it is Cyberpunk themed.
To me , it is the same reason for me to pick up Transistor , Dex , and Void and Meddler (which still waiting for Ep.2...)
but based on your comment , I do believed it is a wonderful experience while it is in Early Access. (and hope it go better)

i dont know any good vn´s to suggest for you but i see u got ultratron and 20xx on your wishlist as well. In terms of playability and being a nice challenge and even a fun co/op i would suggest Rampage Knights Its like a mix of binding of isaac meets golden axe meets Castle crashers..

Yep , it's on my wishlist , It's one of the genre I like to play : Beat'em up.
(I didn't rearranged the rank since it over 150 , it's hard to tell the difference what I really want first or something as a line.)
