Yeah I don't really care for RE:verse but the price for 7 and 8 is a steal if you didn't buy 7 yet

The real issue is in putting a multiplayer game as a free addition to a very different style of single player game. I'm not sure why Capcom keeps thinking that's a good idea, but they're absolutely obsessed with it.

I mean, I'm sure you get some people playing multiplayer that wouldn't otherwise, by including it for free.. but by not granting access to the multiplayer mode on its own as well, you lose some number (perhaps a greater number) of potential players that way, lose the income from those who're only interested in the multiplayer, and cripple the multiplayer game's long-term playerbase retention. Simply put, it's a very outdated mindset on multiplayer gaming.

[Though I guess if enough people buy the full game just for the multiplayer mode Capcom could make a larger profit.. but, 1: WHY would consumers be so wasteful for such lackluster multiplayer modes, and 2: That still doesn't inhibit Capcom from releasing multiplayer modes on their own later on, and thus far I've yet to see that occur.]

[To be clear on the context I'm referencing, Capcom has already confirmed that no stand-alone version of Verse will be releasing with the Village/Verse launch.]

Further, just like Resistance and the vast majority of Capcom's multiplayer experiences, Verse is implied to be a thoroughly shallow venture [with just a five-minute deathmatch mode being listed, and no real special depth to gameplay being indicated thus far, that I've come across].

Honestly, the biggest issue here may just be that Capcom bothers giving tacked-on multiplayer modes their own seperate name and marketing, as if they'd invented the concept of multiplayer modes being included in single-player FPS games. -.-;

It might cause problems with redeeming it but if you happen to win (just saying) just ask steam to remove RE7 from your account. That goes for anyone else in this situation
