Steam sale wont drop cards this year?

drop = WINTER and SUMMER

Cards drop during the summer and winter sales. Like they did in the past half decade. And similarly like in the past half decade, the winter sale is in, surprisingly, winter: at the end of December.
Additionally, strange as it may sound, Steam has more than two sale events each year, not just the summer and winter sales; the current one is one of those.

mmmmkay its just that someone confused me and asked me for the cards sale usually drops every sale event and confused me, thanks guys for the answers.
