They are unicode emojis, and will display differently on different browsers. Just find a list of unicode characters and copy/paste the ones you want, but keep in mind that they won't look the same to everyone.

Emojis? I only know how to use them on my phone, 'cause it's built in, sorta? Not sure how it works on a desktop.

Only Tom Scott is crazy enough to build a complete emoji keyboard setup.

hmm... odd but good.. suddenly linux chrome is way more compatible with the emotes.. not nearly as many 🤞 all over the place anymore. ^^
(still almost all in black n' white, but better then square boxes xD)

edit: oh and as for the question... i collected several from various sites and compiled a list here personally. i don't remb all the sources though now.
