I rock back and forth constantly. However, that isn't a gaming quirk, since I do it almost all the time

  1. I always skip opening cut-scenes and credits. If it's not possible to skip opening cut-scenes (or they are too long) I will look for a way to skip them by swapping game files. If I can't skip credits... well I will ALT + F4 game immediately.

  2. I always lower music volume to at least 50 - 60%. I find dialogues or game sounds to be way more important than background music.

  3. I never follow devs tips "for best experience correct brightness so this box is barely visible". I always set it higher, I don't like to stumble on boxes, as everything is so dark.

  4. I'm compulsory F5 / F9 player, checkpoints are death of me. I need to save after every room or bigger chunk of the map, as I find it overly annoying to replay bigger part of the map in case of dying, or being spotted in stealth game.

  5. I hoard items and never use them. Like I've beaten Deus Ex: Mankind Divided yesterday on hard difficulty, had stockpile of energy and health items that I never used. And I never use temporary boosts, I find them useless for some reason. So they always go to trash.

  6. I need to do all those useless fetch side quests that are given automatically to clean my journal. Like stuff in Skyrim or Witcher 3. I think I've spend nearly 20h just running around map in Skyrim, clearing it. But I try to fight with it for some time now.

  7. If game has a bow I will use only it. Other weapons are not used. Like in TR 2013 or Far Cry 3.
