Shorter time for accepting gift?

I just joined recently so I dont know if this option has been addressed but would there be some value in having the option or a option of a shorter time person must accept giveaway? one of my recent gifts the person pretty much waited till the final day to enable, during that time it didnt allow me to enter into a couple of giveaways that was happening due to a daily sale due to how much I have given so far.

what are the cons to this?

+1 lol I guess, though they would rage if they went pass the week also anyways.
