Well, the only board games I have played recently are very very classic, like Carcassonne and.... well, recently, just Carcassonne, really. It is not "fantastic", but it is a fairly good game. :D
But, hey, here is a list of board games ranked by "Score". Not nearly as charming as a peseonal recommendation, I know... Wingspan if fairly high there!

Nice puzzle by the way, all of the character were immediately recognizable to me, even tho I had to look up the name of a couple because I only remembered the tittle of the game. Can't really recommend any board game since I haven't played any since I was a kid tho.
