I'd say not, the DLC add nothing of interest to the game.

Before any BL2 DLC came out, Gearbox promised that all four would be like General Knoxx in length and quality. They made that claim back when people were still smarting over the slapped together waste that was BL1's Underdome Riot.
Any claims made by Gearbox need to be taken with a large grain of salt (or, in some cases, a one ton block.)

The DLC's while not as long as the game itself are a nice couple hours of gameplay each (if you do all the side stuff it's longer, if you just do the main story quest then it's not that long).
Best would probably be Captain Scarlett or Torque, though Hammerlock is ok it's not up there with the others for me. The new Tiny Tina DLC is out on June 25th (comes with season pass) and is said to be the biggest DLC up there with General Knoxx in terms of size.
Personally if you enjoy Borderlands 2 then this will be more of that, however if you are really hard on cash wait for a sale on it but it's definitely worth the full price.

well it's a hell of alot better than the 20 euro dlc's for skyrim.

i disagree with that because yeah it's short when you rush it.
i finished the first dlc (Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty) in like 7 hours because i like to do EVERYTHING.

I was glad to have a friend who does game reviews clue me in before I shelled out the money. I enjoy Torgues, its hillarious and the gear you get is nice. A also needed the ultimate vault hunter upgrade to get past 50... I ended up splurging for the pirate one but I don't think I'd recommend it to tell the truth.
So you'd be better of just getting the ones you want individually if you just want one or two

While I really think you should wait for a sale for it,I think it is worth it.
That is you should obviously read a little about what the DLCs have to offer you,and if you think you might enjoy them.I have the season pass+premiere club+mechromancer pack and don't regret a thing.Finished the game with gaige and I LOVE HER(you don't get her in the season pass btw).Soon I'll do another run in coop with the new class.
I think it's up to you, about how much you enjoyed bl2,and how much you think you might enjoy additional content.

well i got it for 10€ but besides that, the first dlc is good, the other ones kinda boring. its not really worth it to buy the season pass unless youre a hardcore fan

No, it's a misleading term, it has nothing to do with seasons. It's usually a pack that includes a lot or all of the DLC for a game. In case of Borderlands 2 it has all the story DLC but not the 2 extra classes or the skins.
I think the term originates from sports where you can have a season pass to your team's games for an entire season.
Once you have the DLC you can play it for as long as you like. :)

Season passes tend to cover "main" or "campaign" DLC, but often not other stuff. Particularly not since publishers realized that people who buy season passes will also buy other material.
So BL2's season pass covers the campaign releases, but not the extra costumes, extra characters, or the level cap increase. Saints Row the Third's season pass covered its three campaign releases and had a "bonus" of the Nightblade DLC, but didn't contain any of the rest of the ton of small outfit, weapon, vehicle, skill, etc DLCs. Darksiders II's season pass had the two $10 story DLCs, but not the $7 smaller story DLCs, nor the rest of the weapon and armor DLCs.
Regardless, it has given people more reason to just wait for a bundled "game of the year" release when they see a title has plans for a lot of DLC. (And if a GOTY release never happens, well, there are plenty of other games out there. The world won't end if you don't ever play Saints Row 4, after all.)

The new Tiny Tina DLC is the first I am mildly interested in. And I still think Borderlands and Borderlands 2 are amazing games.
For the first Borderlands I waited for the goty edition, even if that meant buying the full game again. The Armory was a great expansion, robolution was ok, rest was sub par. For singleplayers Moxxies Underdome was the worst. It's just an arena style "fight several waves of mobs" kind of game that sets you back 2 waves if you die during the mission. Which means you can spend hours in one mission dying in the fourth or fifth wave and repeating it over and over with no option to save progress.
With Borderlands 2 I hope for a bargain bundle of all DLC and will still think it through before buying. It sucks to see a game getting milked with DLC by its developer.
And don't get me started on the confusion about which DLC might belong to the season pass and which doesn't. It's a mess in my eyes. At least I don't regret buying early and getting the Mechromancer for free. I really enjoy playing that class.

Underdome was worse than you describe. It also gave lousy rewards. For XP, money, and weapons all, you were better off just killing off some regular story enemies and looting some chests. Honestly, you could be more productive scavenging skagg piles. At least that is what I remember from the Xbox 360 version, and refreshed by playing it a bit on the PC version later.

I thought it would be, but frankly have been disappointed so far. Torgue was tons of fun until the last boss - that thing just sucked the fun out of the whole experience for me. Booty was alright, and the Hunt wasn't very impressive either
Honestly at this point I would recommend Borderlands GOTY over Borderlands 2

Season pass for BL2 practically means '4 DLC campaigns for the price of 3'. I got it for 10€ awhile back and it's definitely worth it if you like Borderlands 2 on itself. The campaigns are fairly enjoyable and the complaints about the length i read here are only true if you are planning to play it straight through. Should you intend to go for some of the side content, then there's plenty for you to do.. I'm mostly excited about the upcoming campaign though, which you can see some gameplay of here, it's 40 minutes of the start, so don't watch if you mind minor spoilers. So theoretically if you want just two DLC, then you could save money, but seeing how the Season Pass goes for cheaper than 1 campaign sometimes, you might as well grab that on sale.

They're fake lv 91, much like the weapon you got from the bot who wants to be human. The lv cap is 61 but the enemies can get to a maximum lv 63 if i recall the raid bosses correctly ... at least the terramorphous is always with 2 levels higher than you.
There was a section in the Forest (The Forest of Being Eaten Alive by Trees) where if you go off the beaten path then the creatures are all really badly over-levelled at things like level 91, which isn’t a real enemy level and she (Tiny Tina) panics and goes, “OH F^^K, I’ll fix it, I’ll fix it.” It’s just playing with the idea that she’s got a lot of enthusiasm for DM’ing but she’s really not the best DM, so we can play around with that kind of stuff.

All DLCs for BL2 suck. Unless you're a hardcore fan that has too much money to spend for mediocre overpriced content.

Yeah, the DLC's so far have been kind of boring. Only Torgue was fun enough for me, but hopefully this last season 1 DLC changes everything :
PS Nation: And it’s huuuuge too.
Ryan: It is, it’s a massive DLC. We thought a lot about Knoxx, General Knoxx from Borderlands 1, and so we wanted to have something that was comparable to that at least and it turns out that we came up with something that’s actually a lot bigger. So there’s quite a lot of content, all new enemies. You won’t see any reskinned bandits, there’s actually no bandits in the DLC. In all of the new enemies, we actually have a full range of variants for each enemy type, so everything from your basic grunt, cannon fodder guy all the way to badasses.

Torgue was fun, but you know, not Knoxx-fun. And I seriously doubt that this new DLC will be different. Lame short story, awful side quests and another fucking raid boss.

If you enjoy playing Borderlands 2, then it's worth it. But if you only play it for the main missions and story content, then no. DLCs are just expansion packs for fans, not for the average player that plays it once and then forgets about it. Let's just say, if you have three or more lvl 50 characters then you should buy it.

I don't know anything about those DLC's, so I hope a Borderlands 2 Veteran can help me out here. Is it better to buy one ore two of the DLC's, instead of the season pass, or should I get the full pack?
