The hot tub is the only one with a chick in it. The choice is clear.

You're comparing the incomparable here! Sea for swimming, pool for playing, bath/hot tub for relaxing, hot tub/spring for sexy time. :D

heated pool? 'cause then it's a much more difficult choice... assuming they're both private.

Hot Tub only if solo (or maybe hot date), because those things are basically making people soup out of you.
Swimming pool only if it has a good shallow end where I can flounder piteously with my inflatable ducky-ring.

Otherwise, my scene is more of a nicely shaded air conditioned room with cold drinks, horrible terrible videogames and a crushing awareness of a lack of social life. Yeah that's more my speed.

Can't we have both? When I had a friend that lived in an apartment complex with a pool and hot tub, we sat in the hot tub until we got used to it, then jumped in the cold pool. We'd stay in the pool until we got used to it, then go back to the hot tub.

I swim like a rock so it's an easy choice. On top of that there's something really silly about pools, since they're filled with water but are usually so unclean you have to take a shower afterwards. Too much water, no thanks.

But is the temperature of the water in the pool hot ?

I like more the relaxing in hot water

As much as I like the pool, have to say hot tub.

Debate? What debate? Both of course. Not that I have either one. But I do have a jacuzzi tub. Nice and relaxing. :)

Jacuzzis are dope. Hottubs are good for intimacy and pools are great for cooling off.

I really like the first image in your original post. Swimming in the pool with the lovely vista (including a lake!) just outside!:)
