So what sort of games have people gotten from the monthly bundles?

Think I am going to subscribe for this one I believe Alien Isolation alone is worth 12$ whatever else I will get from bundle will come as extra ^.^

I want Alien, but i want the DLC's too. I already completed the game, so. But it is a game that I wasn't expecting to see here

Interesting the shift in the new subscription / one-game reveal methodology, and a smart move on their part. It makes it much less of a gamble and should make the bundle much more interesting to bundle-addict types.

Basically, they are putting the highest profile game as the early unlockable each month, so it is in essence like that high-profile game is on sale for a month for $12 + you get 5 free unknown games that are almost all pretty highly regarded. This model makes a lot more sense, and captures both the casual subscriber crowd as well as the hardcore gamedeal crowd.

So I risked it on the first monthly bundle and it wasn't too bad.
Already had Valkyria Chronicles but got some decent stuff out of it.
Didn't take the bait for the second (december) bundle, and while a number of people seem to believe that one was the better bundle, I actually think the first one was better. (Preference in games.)

The January bundle held the same concept. Not necessarily bad games, but their "lure" AAA title is just not my cup of tea.
And February is following the same pattern.

I had some hopes when they initially described the concept. But it seems that developers are catching on to the consequences of bundles on the overall market and how it affects the value of their product. (Titles that are frequently bundled rapidly drop in value due to third party reselling and such.)
Combine that with an already extensive library of games making the "older titles" that get bundled not really appealing and the end result is that bundles have kinda run their course.

2. Scroll down until you see ALIEN ISOLATION: PAY EARLY
3. Click “PAY EARLY”
4. You will see the option to CONFIRM PAYMENT ---> PAY NOW. Click the Green PAY NOW Button.
5. Get your key for ALIEN ISOLATION

People keep saying that Alien: Isolation is an early unlock rather than a bonus, but I think that's wrong.

In order to get the game, you either have to be a new subscriber, or you have to pay early, before the usual 1-week to go charge period.

If you're an existing subscriber and do nothing, in other words, you do not send them money now, you may not get Alien: Isolation.

The incentive to getting it this time is to give them money sooner than you normally would, because they need and want the cash now. It's the same reason that companies create rebates, to float a loan from you that they can earn interest on for 2-4 months.

I may not be reading things correctly, but I really do think you should pay them now and not wait around and end up pissed off.

Probably worth it just to get Alien: Isolation for 12 bucks!

I don't get why we only had till January 1st to get the last one, but it was put back to the 4th of the month for the bundle. I might get it simply because I need to build up my credit and I can resell or gift the keys I don't want. . . just like any other bundle.

It seems the time has finally come, I will subscribe for the 1st time to the monthly hb, I quite want Alien Isolation even if I really can't handle horror games that well but I do love the movies :D

Well the logic says its gonna contain alien isolation so the rest are utter poop, but this shouldn't be what will happen if they even have the simplest plans to continue past this month.

Hmm, it's getting tempting now, but still no. I'm not interested enough in Alien Isolation on it's own to gamble on it. But maybe next time if they throw in another great game...

Also as was stated above, it wouldn't be surprising if the other games were all of very low value.

Nope. They give really good games but with my backlog 12$ per month is too much.

I'm still confused (maybe with some language barrier)... every month is 6 games and humble bundle always gave one game of the previous bundle as bonus to new subscribes.
BUT Alien Isolation is not on the previous bundle... so that's where I'm still confused: as new subscriber will I receive Alien Isolation + six or five games?

this tactic is very good . . . people will buy Ai immediately because in steam sale its more expensive then whole HB february bundle
