the first movie is great, didn't watch the second though because I heard it sucked hard
Those facial expressions on the protagonists in the game were really really awesome and the story was pretty nice too.
Spoiler .. perhaps for some: was a bit put off by the start with all the jumpscares but once that was over it got better - for me at least

Did the second suck? I don't know, it had totally different perception of butterfly effect and I think most people didn't like the fact it was not as smooth as the first one. different actors probably too :P
And yes, that's the first game with that good facial expressions I ever saw. In Dead Island I was just laughing my ass off when I saw protagonists try to express emotions :D I thought I sucked that much that me killing two first girls was the end of the game
