The Witness :O
*checks bank account* *bank account winces* That's not a no! :D

Edit: All the money goes to charity without having to change anything, and you can choose if you want to give more to one or another, pretty cool :)

I feel like it, but it's such a dumb idea. I hate coming up with prices for individual games.

Almost everyone would want same games so it would be hard to find people for the split :P

It could be a great idea to split, and make invite only giveaways.

but, there's a little chance of the buyer just vanish with the full bundle

I'd love to get it for The Witness, Subnautica and Song of the Deep, but the rest either don't really make up for the price or I already own. :/

I love HB, I love charity, and I love good games, but Fuck You Jonathan Blow for making me choose DRM or Steam instead of offering both

Easy choice for me. I chose Steam for the sake of consistency.

I just thought the bundle name and the dilemma for that user to choose was funny. I pretty much stick to Steam just so all my games are in one place at this point.

Wasn't there some fuss about ACLU recently? IRC & Doctors without Borders are amazing in case any one cares about that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Edit: Oh and apparently there might be more stuff added on Wednesday 😺👍

Fuss? Like they might defend basic liberties against an executive branch that doesn't think the judiciary should be independent?

Oh god now I remember, they stood up to the Trump ban and people got hysterical about it. Some indie game dev was donating all sale proceeds to ACLU or something and he got harassed for it (๑ↀᆺↀ๑)

That's pretty sad, since the ACLU defends constitutional rights for everyone, not just the left. They're most famous for defending things like marriage equality and the right to teach evolution in schools, but they've defend the rights of LOTS of assholes, including the KKK, the American Nazi Party, Rush Limbaugh, the Westboro Baptist Church, Chik-Fil-A, and many others.

The only "fuss" I remember was that they got more donations in the past few weeks than the past few years combined (or something to that effect). But if you're not comfortable with giving to them, you can set the slider for them to $0

It's actually messier than that, I only heard of them from that recent incident but couldn't remember fully, I'm not from the US ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think they're good but not my place to say that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Edit: Humble twitter, oh god (ФДФ)

NB: A Virus Named TOM redeems as the Soundtrack Edition

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Oh, that might explain why it doesn't show up as owned for me. Seems to be the same for Super Meat Boy. And The Swapper. And Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP. And Octodad. (some of these don't have soundracks on Steam though, seems to be just Humble not detecting all my owned games)

AVNT shows up as owned and in my library, it just also came with the soundtrack.

Do you mean that the other games are also showing up with soundtracks, or that they aren't available in your library?

I just meant on the bundle page where I can get keys or gift links, those games still give me a key option and don't have the blue checkmark to indicate that I already own them on Steam (lots of others do though). I don't know what anything redeems as, but under "Audio" I only got the soundtrack for Superbrothers.

This is amazing and came out of nowhere, and I like that they're supporting the ACLU and that Humble is matching our donations. However, I no longer have 30$ to spare this month and even if I did, I learnt from the Yogcast bundle that the headache of managing what to do with this many games when I only care about a few is just not worth it. I mean to most people getting a lot of games is probably a great thing: you can trade them, make GAs for them or puzzles, etc etc... But for me it's just unnecessary mental strain. Passing. Might trade for one or two games from it(Was surprised to see most people here don't consider World of Goo to be one of the "big ones", might make it easier to get? I've wanted it for a while)

The bundle has a LOT from the very best of the indie market, but they were already bundled 1-2 (or way more *stares at Guacamelee*) times, so a lot of us already owns them :)
