Disney have sued a elementary school for doing a play for some story that they have also used over the years (despite the fact they don't own it themselves). I doubt this will get to stick around to completion.

He did contact LucasArts while they had the license and he got greenlight from them which was 1 year ago. But yeah, you have a point. We will see :)

I'm pretty sure this game was cancelled I think I head it on a show called good game episode 8 (australian series about games and game news)

I thought Disney pulled the plug on this a while back.

There may be a rework in the pipeline featuring big-eared elephants, singing teenagers and/or trite but heartwarming morality tales?

Man it would be awesome if this will turn out great :) I played Battlefront 2 on my PSP for thousands of hours and i miss playing it D:

Battlefront series was/is awesome and terrible at the same time. Hopefully this will deal with the terrible part and survive Disney's inevitable assault.

The only real thing that is scaring me is the CryEngine 3 :P I'd like to see it in Avalanche engine 2(upgraided Just Cause 2 engine) or the Bf3/4 engine.
