i didn't install it untill one month after the game was offered free
tbh i don't think steam has the ability to find out who actually downloaded the game
as if you open from another device that means you don't have it installed on this one
but on another one

ppl say this one "Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2 MULTYPLAYER" but it's 22Gb....I just can't download this amount in short time cuz my brother will complain about lag in LoL. And if it's "Red Orchestra 2: heroes of Stalingrad single player" this is 10Gb.

So let's hope it will just keep forever.

i guess it takes 3.5222 hours to download 1 gb for him.

22 gb * 3.5222 (x) = 77 h

gb * x = h

thus x = h/gb

there is no longer a cut version of this game. the gore has been patched in again, even fpr German users, devs are just to lazy to have the notification remvoed from the Steam store.

RO2: Single Player - 10,7 GB
RO2: Beta - 15 GB
RS/RO2 Multiplayer - 22,6 GB

So you want me to spare 87,7 GB of my HDD space for basicly what should be a single game named Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad???

Simply start the installation and then interrupt it. The game will be permanently added to your library.

I found a way to have sp:

Go to steam store and Log out;
Go to the game page and Click «Install»;
Log in, see error Url and Go back two times;
Click «Install» and see success.
Download and Profit!

Normal one is not free. But you can access limited part of Rising Storm content(you can only use rifle and cant level up) if you have RO2.

none of them. All you need to do is to cick on install the game from the store page and then it gets added to your steam library and your done. No other steps necessary

I don't think you have to install it.
The Left 4 Dead 2 promo also read "To claim your L4D2 gift, all you need to do is install it.", but you didn't need to.

Steam Achievement Manager (google it) but it's not really that legal...but who'll (and how) gonna check if i have downloaded the game if it says it runs...?

You don't even need to DL the game, much less run it.
You simply need to "buy it" by clicking install, it will then be added to your account.

If you still want to be certain you have the game, just go to your Account Details, it will appear there.
