After watching some of Breaking Bad, I would say it is a good series, but no where near as good as the hype would have you believe. If you expect it to be better than anything you've ever seen in your life, then you might end up disappointed. Certainly it is worth watching if you generally like that sort of show or even if you just want something to chat with your friends about.

It's over in a month, it's engaging, it's well acted and well written. It requires some serious suspension of disbelief. Considering all this, watch the first episode and you'll know if it's for you or not.

I'm sure it's a fine TV series, but it looks like it tries TOO hard with all the "mature" content. But if you're looking for something, almost any of the shows from the USA Network are pretty great. White Collar, Burn Notice... Lie To Me is pretty good although I don't know if that's a USA Series or not. Monk remains one of my most favorite TV series of all time. If you're into anime then I'd suggest Darker Than Black, and Trigun. By the way if anyone's confused USA is the name of a channel/network.

It's really quite good. intense, sometimes thoughtfull, and some great black comedy.

I generally do not get into TV series. I liked LOST until time travel came into it at which point I sorta went '...well, this just got too loopy for me now.' I pretty much exclusively watch animated shows and anything that doesn't have a story. I decided to watch the first episode of Breaking Bad just to see what it was like since everyone I knew wouldn't shut up about it. Now I am one of those people. It's the best show I've ever seen, I love it. Definitely give it a go if you haven't already.

Totally, it's an awesome show.

The show has its moments of greatness but also its moments of mediocrity. Season one was average at best. It peaks at season 4 where it should've ended with Walt getting away with it all. Season 5 has been dry, boring, and as predictable as drama television can get(also didn't help that they broke a season up and made us wait a year for its return). You'll find yourself wanting 90% of the characters dead, and the only ones who end up dying are the ones you actually like.

I still think it's a great show but the 5th season wasn't needed and will probably end up hurting it in terms of greatest of all time tv shows.

I'm thinking of watching this, everyone I know who does has been raving about it.

So far, I've got Game of Thrones down, and I might pick back up Castle & Suits (stopped watching them at the end of Season 4 & 1 respectively). Might add The Walking Dead to the list of shows to pick up later.
