that game would be worth every penny you spend on it, trust me :) TL2 is less repetitive than TL1 with more versatile environments instead of just "another" level below :)

There is just a list of all current game when you go to multiplayer.. You can filter it by level so you group with others close to ya~ It's really an awesome game. Some of the mods add A LOT of content.. Pets, new classes, bosses, etc. I'd buy it again at full price if I had to, 50% off is awesome.

the only minus I can think off is that they removed the ember upgrading system, quite a shame. For multi, depends on how you make the room, either private or public. If I'm correct, there's no PvP in TL2 so the difference in levels won't affect much since Exp and loots are individually dropped

great game really i still play it. I missed playing games like diablo and diablo 2 so i got TL2

Depends on if you like that type of game. I didn't enjoy it much but thats mainly due to my dislike for the genre.

i mean it depends what burnt you out in the first torchlight. if you just got bored of clickin' monsters and picking up the swords their corpses spat out, then torchlight 2 really isn't going to offer you anything because it's fundamentally the same game
but if you just got bored of the same monsters, boring loot, and being stuck in a dungeon, you'll really dig tl2 for a good while because it fixes all those things and adds a very functional multiplayer. there's just way more content, most notably for me the expanded variety in environments and enemy types. unlike diablo 3 the loot here is pretty fun, too. so yea game rules and the music owns, get it for the 10 bux unless you just don't care for the genre

Depends. If you like some casual action RPG where nothing could go wrong, this game is perfect for you.
If you want some challenge where everything could go wrong, buy Dark Souls.

It's definitely worth it, even if you got bored with the first one. They've added so much stuff to do that running around each act and exploring every corner is genuinely exciting for at least the first playthrough of the game. Lots of neat little touches crammed into the game make every few steps feel like a discovery, it's really fun!

TL2 is a cut above even the likes of Diablo 3 (because it is made by many of the same team as Diablo 2)
If youre into these kinds of games, I definitely recommend it.

I somehow doubt they'll put it into a bundle soon, as Runic are kind of stingy about it - they like to hold off until they get another project near completion. However, I'm sure we would see deeper Steam discounts soon enough (i.e. lower than 50% off).

I've played a few hours of TL1 but it got stale after a while, very repetitive. I played the TL2 demo and it was amazing, plus I heard TL2 improved drastically over the first one. With the integration of Steam Workshop should I pick it up for 10 bucks or do any smarty pants predict a bundle soon or 66/75% off?
