So, I downloaded an update for my graphics/video card. It was AMD 3500, I think. And it screwed up the old one, somehow. Not sure exactly what to do. But now my graphics card is fucked. Should I uninstall it and download a new one or what? Help?

Uninstall the driver, then install a fresh one.

Well, I'm wanting to do that. But I'm afraid I'll uninstall it wrong. Then when I'm worried about which one I should download. So much confusion.

Uninstall the AMD graphics driver from your Control Panel (Program's and Features). Then go to the AMD website, download the latest driver for your specific card (they have an auto detection feature on the site) and run it.

I would actually have recommended for you not to upgrade the software driver if nothing is wrong, but it's too late for that.
Instead, I would recommend for you to uninstall the current driver you have, and install the latest version you don't have problems.

amd really should think about making their website more user-friendly... one of the reasons i chose nvidia is cos i couldn't find enough info on any of their cards e.g. the size (dimensions in height x width x length)...
i'd suggest trying to rollback the driver first to a prior version (when it used to work fine) and if you are unable to do that then google search for the correct driver (or get steam to do it for you) and if both those dont work then uninstall it and let steam find the drivers neccessary ^.^ hope this helps/works
