Tl;dr ~ I have been using AXE for years, not caring what kind of brand as long as the deodorant works. Now, I have been more judgemental because some dedorants smell nicer than others. Old Spice is the way to go, but I am open for other suggestions. Women can join in the conversation too and say what kind of deodorant they like from guys.

Edit: US citizen.

Everything other than AXE (unless you are 23 or younger) or Old Spice.

I use the Nivea Men Silver Protect spray. Doesn't leave stains on clothes and has a neutral smell. :3

Nivea for Men. Dove Men+Care. Fa Men. Rexona for Men. All have a good selection and usually very mild to no actual scent. The dry ones are my preferred ones (or silver with Nivea). I really don't like Old Spice. Really strong smell and it burns my skin. It's as if it really was made for construction workers or field hands who sweat in the open sun all day long.
I don't know which of those are available in the US.

Nivea and Dove for sure. I think Fa and Rexona have to be imported.

I haven't tried the dove men care antiperspirant yet... Shampoo and soap are awesome though. Can't use deodorant from any brand or it melts my skin, burns like hell.

Dove is extremely great for very sensitive skin as well. It has its limits though. I can't remember if they have some even milder stick or not.

The Dove Men+Care rocks. Both the spray and the roll on one.

Use an unscented deodorant. If you want to smell nice, use an actual cologne.

The real trick is to find a deodorant or cologne that is made with natural essential oils--not artificial chemicals. Most colognes and perfume are olfactory nightmares.

Lush Aromaco is my personal favourite. It's perfectly genderless too.

At the store Lush? I liked a puddy deodorant that they sold, but discontinued.

I've always found good clean sweat works a treat.

Don't use anything else other than your own pheromones.

It's the truest you can be.

That is not true. I sweat a lot and people despise it. Left, right, male and female.

I'm not sure it exists where you live, but I use something called deoleen. It has zero perfume, masks smells and is an anti-perspirant. I sweat a lot by nature and I couldn't be where I am if it wasn't for this deodorant.

I switched from Axe to Adidas years ago, since Axe seems to forget my favourite one everytime they re-new their portfolio.

As teenager i've used Axe, but switched them to Adidas. Not so agressive in my opinon to my body and I like it much more.

I use a slab of alum rock. It's the active ingredient in all deodorants, without all the extra nonsense.

Funny, but your thread just made me realized that Hickok deodorants are made in my country, and used to work pretty well when I used It. Maybe they import some of them to your country:

I´m gonna support them, If they´re still on the market... I totally forgot about them because of the big brands.

Schmidt's natural deodorant... No additional crap. There's a fragrance free version - maybe best suited for men.

I use the one in the picture. Smells clean but I can't smell it when it's on me (which I prefer). Don't know if you have it in US or if it has a different brand name though?

I switched to degree on one of my military deployments in Iraq. The temp was insane and the random garbage I had wasn't cutting it. Degree did the job... it rocked the shit out of making sure I didn't finish the day with a nasty underarm sweat spot... lifetime customer from then on out! +1

So I'm allergic to just about everything so I use Dove sticks. That is until recently I figured I'd give their brand new spray bottles a chance. I AM NEVER GOING BACK!!!

Dove Spray bottles, work amazing for sweaty people, good for sensitive skin, and they smell really good!

As a girl I prefer the smell of aftershave. So just pick a deodorant that works... Then pick your scent!

I never use aftershave, since I love my EdT (Dunhill Desire Blue). And for taking care of the skin there's cream.

I mean if it smells good then I'm on it! Like I like Lynx which is Axe in the UK, and it smells great and all, but I personally like something more mature!

But either way, if a man just wears deodorant then thats good enough for me. Its just a good cologne is just... drifts off into daydreams

I don't see any issue using deodorant (as long as it's not too intensive like partially Axe/Lynx and some more xpensive ones) and aftershave or perfume. But perfume and aftershave is an obvious no-go.
The aftershaves I've tried until now were mostly too strong (not as bad as musk scent, but "old men" stuff).
