but of course that if you win the same dlc twice someone will eventually report you

You always could enter for DLCs you own, but you should not if you have them.

Steam doesn't report most of the DLCs you own, which limits how much SteamGifts can do to prevent you from entering.

This is why the new Hide feature is great. Whenever you see a DLC, click on its Steam Store icon to see if you have it or not. If you have, click on the Hide icon and you'll never see them again.
