If it comes from a person you don't know delete it, certainly never click it of course.

It's a bot that spams public profiles with public commentary options. It's a malicious link, so delete it and if you want to bother with it, report the user it came from. If you want to bother more, report it on StemRep too.

Just disable comments on your profile page. Works fine for me.

I would recommend checking those links only on Linux.

Just don't do it. If you want to know so badly what happens, the link will direct you to a page that will prompt the download of a malicious file.

Basically its related to phishing,if you click the link it downloads a file to your comp, etc and tries to hack your steam account(related to steam guard iirc), idk if Steam have fixed the thing but yeh just delete it, no point messing with it.

Don't open it. Delete it. And, if you have no clue about that person (or has a level 0, inactive, etc... account), block it as well.

The website owner's email has "Jesus" in it but that doesn't mean it's safe. There are other Steam profiles with the same comment so it's probably another scam.

Change your privacy setting so that only friends can post comments. and only become friends with people you know. Suggest also using Spybot search and destroy, they implement browser safeguards to prevent exactly such malicious files from automatically downloading to your pc. which can happen anywhere on any website anytime. even on here with so many random user posting links, gifs and stuff. they can hide it within the carrier signal and you wouldn't even know it. anyone who says otherwise is most likely part of the guilty party involved.
