Hi everyone,

I am looking for playtesting help for a game that has been made as part of a university project. We need you to play this game in its entirety and answer a survey afterwards - but of course we wouldn't ask this of you without giving something back, so anyone who finishes the game and the survey will get links to 25+ game giveaways (the games are listed further down).

The game is a turn based strategy game, where you need to defeat an enemy on 5 different islands and battle them in a combat board game setting. The game can take a good while to complete (possibly 1+ hours) so we appreciate your patience and your help a lot.

The game has been created for a singular purpose in our semester report, and has been made in a month, so you should expect some jank here and there, but game breaking stuff should be very very rare. If you experience any major issues you can ALT-F4 out and start from the last checkpoint, but please keep this as a last resort, as it can screw up some things.

Here is how you can get playing:
=== CLOSED FOR ENTRIES===

I will try to assist with technical issues, but i can't say much about the game such as tips, since that would void the test - and i will try to answer as fast as i can.

The fabulous games you can get a chance to win (for every 10 participants on the survey i will add 1 more game to the list)

Can't remember specific cases for each person - But i don't blacklist without having my reasons, so there must have been some.

Tried and beaten! Didn't have any crashes, only one bug that happened two or three times. It was something like a dead unit remaining on the field and other units who stood there were overlapping and you couldn't really understand what unit was there and how much life it had.
Survey done, thank you for the giveaways!

Stone units weren't revertible back to normal, weren't they? Computer player just destroys own respawns with them.
Shadows are too easy to use, probably stronger one shouldn't exist.

Bug with dead unit on map also occurred.

Really fun game, I really loved the idea and the gameplay, the strategy really made it fun, I beat it in under 40 minutes, only had to restart a mission once because I messed up and chose the wrong unit types, but after I corrected that it was a piece of cake, thanks for the giveaways and the great tutorial/demo of your University game!

I'll download and test your game right now !

Annnnd done !

No bug, no defeat, about 1h30 of play.

The first map was the harder :p
When there was a lot of small units on the field, it was not easy to differentiate my units from the enemy.
I also had to try them all to see if they can move...

Some battle music and an other map would be nice too, but for a 1 month job, it's a great work !
I'm still in a learning phase with Unity and I hope I can make a game like yours in years :p

Elemental feature is good, and the Shadow units are the best :p
(too easy with them in the end btw)

Thanks for the game, and for all the greats giveaways !

Hey - Thanks for the feedback and for helping out by testing the game.
I'd actually appreciate if you edited this post and didn't give this much information away on the game for everyone to see - as it kinda ruins the premise of the test of anyone sees all this. Thanks :)
I've copied your feedback to a local document, so it is saved.

We haven't run tests for requirements, so I can't say anything concrete.
But as stated in the other comment, it isn't all that taxing and should run on most computers.
