Concerning flash sale - Also, The Witcher 2 is 60% off (Flash Sale)

Is there any chance that some of the items on flash sale will be on daily/community sale again?

The reason I'm asking this question is that The Witcher 2 is on flash sale - 60% off ($15.99) while I just have around 17 bucks. The game is, of course, totally worth that price but I still want to purchase Frozen Synapse Red DLC which costs $2. So, could The Witcher 2 be on sale again, say, with 75% off?

Also, thanks for your attention and have fun with the Summer Sale.

Steam did something like that at the end of the 2011 winter/end-of-year sale. They took some of the most popular daily deals and gave them a one-day encore.

One of the cardinal rules of Steam seasonal sales is to never pick up things at basic sale prices until the last day.

Everything is fair after the summer sale is off. I doubt it will go as daily deal during the sale for more than -60% though.

Yup, that's how it works. You buy the game now, a month later you'll see it on sale for cheaper, then kick yourself in the ass for not waiting.

Hmm, maybe I should wait but hell, the whole reason I've been waiting for Summer Sale is this game. I wish I hadn't spent my money watching Madagascar... twice. Silly me.

Its definitely possible, but only Valve knows for sure. I couldn't tell you if it's going to be cheaper or not, i don't even know how the developers decide on the sale percentage in the first place.

Alan Wake was a flash deal and it's now up for voting so yeah it's possible and I don't think Witcher 2 will be 75% off

Yes. Witcher 2... "probably" won't pop up during this sale more than 60% off but that's rather a bit of guesswork. Might be better off waiting until the winter sale, it's bound to be 75% off eventually.

I don't think so. The Publishers always set a limit. Thats why Valve Games are always -75%. I think -60% is the Maximum for Witcher 2.
