Insta-bought when I saw that the price was almost at the minimum, and I ain't regretting it. 3 Rockin Android games and DLC for Sword and Soldiers HD, in addition to Lunar Flight and Sequence which are pretty interesting actually. Those cute things could die without me in the Gala Mobile 2, but I don't mind trying them out after all. Thanks for the very early heads up!

"Being a jerk" is not a legal term either, and yet people seem to undersand what it means. Indie Royale people are offering us several games for next to nothing, and are asking us not to redistribute them. If someone takes the games, but then proceeds to redistribute them, are they a jerk? And are the SteamGifts rules* not meant to deal with jerks?
*) For example cg explicitly saying in his "bundle keys now allowed" post that before posting a bundle game giveaway, we should check if we are allowed to do so.

Redistribute =/= give away. I hardly see the harm in someone buying a pack and giving away all the keys.
If they were selling them/trading them for full value that would be a huge jerk move; but calling a gifter a jerk for spending $5+ and giving it away is kinda lame.

The problem is that in Indie Royale (and also Humble Bundle) case, you are not giving the games away -- you still have access to the Desura and DRM-free versions. Some people are actually brazen enough to say "I'll send you the Steam key, but not the Desura one, because I've already used it to get the game for myself". And because of that, Indie Royale guys are explicitly asking you not to give the keys to other people. End of story, no need for any definitions of "redistribute" or theories about lost sales. People who give the keys to others are doing something they were, for whatever reason, explicitly asked not to do -- they are exploiting Indie Royale's trust.

I hadn't thought about the Desura or DRM-Free versions, so in those cases I agree with you. I know I have only given away Steam keys to games I already had active on Steam.
Maybe SG should have a rule/setting that you can only give away a Bundle Game if you already have it active in your Steam Games List.
That would ensure people are giving away true 2nd copies and not exploiting bundles.

Steam doesn't seem to want to accept my swords & soldiers key. Keeps saying I need "the base game" first. I thought this WAS the base game. And whenever I try to view the DLC key, cause I figured maybe they mixed up the placement of the DLC and base game keys, I get "All bonus keys have been allocated, site staff have been notified and will add more soon." Siiigh.

Same here :\ and my lunar flight is bugged O.o I mean I start it and it says "unsupported resolution use one of the following resolutions" and I'm using a supported resolution and im still getting this error...i tried with different resolutions but still THE SAMEEEE...and i sent email to support

Yes it is, yoou have drm-free games, support, a great community, variety... the only thing that steam is better is at the multiplayer...

I can't believe it, about an hour ago I checked and the old bundle was still there... must have missed the start by mere minutes. Oh, well. Better intuition next time. ^_^
By the way, just an offhand question- Do new Indie Royale bundles always come out at a specific time?
