Hey,

I just watched a great video and wondered myself, are there games out there that give me those goosebumps.
I didnt quit find what I was looking for, thats why I ask you guys.
For example... walking simulators with a great story and great music.
Stuff like that.
Thanks for every recommendation, have a great day!

In Bioshock, when you capture a Little Sister, you are given the option to either 'Rescue' or 'Harvest' her. If you rescue her, you receive less Adam but it is the good/moral thing to do, while harvesting her (which also kills her) gives you more Adam to spend.

I chose Harvest once (felt bad about it, and never did it again).

However, every time you rescue a Little Sister, a violin starts playing music during a small cutscene and it gives me chills every single time. In fact, just typing this is giving me chills!

OneShot is a perfect fit. Just don't read, watch, learn anything about it – the less you know, the better experience it is.

I get goosebumps every time I exit the Vault at the start of Fallout 3. The music hits its crescendo and you can see just how vast the Capital Wasteland really is!

I am pretty calm and emotionless in life in general. Don't really get mad/happy/sad/excited/scared much.

Games will sometimes give me a sense of accomplishment, or feeding some compulsive need to do it one more time. I have heard about people who feel goosebumps or emotions in their chest from a good song or movie or game, but I've never experienced that myself.

My most extreme emotions are internal and focused inwardly. But the outside world does not breach my emotional perimeter very often. :P

ARAYA, The game has some horrible voice acting and animations here and there but early on you will hear something comming behind you but you can't see it and the sound was so good that i actually got goosebumps, Don't think i ever had that happen before in a game.

Prey, I was always hesitant at first to enter a new area, the sound design is simply amazing in that game.

The ending(s) from Deus Ex: Human Revolution had quite an impact on me and they still give me some kind of thrill watching them years after playing it :3
But I think this kind of feeling depends very much on the person :)

I usually get goosebumps when ive been playing too long and its 3am on a cold winter's night and finally decide to go to bed.
But generally, no, cos those arent the sort of things i generally play. I moght get emotional, but rarely get goosebumps.

Claire. A horror game that doesn't rely on jumpscares and instead goes for an slow-burning dread.

Off the top of my mind...

-- Root Double After Crime, but only if you like VNs, and have TONS of time... There is a huge goosebump moment with a fall-out-of-your-chair payoff many many hours into the game, which is absolutely unforgettable. But it's a looooooong (and smart!) setup for that (huge!) payoff.

-- Hollow Knight -- there is quite the goosebump moment when you fall into Deepnest for the first time and go OH SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT I AM SO SCREWED -- actually, the sound design in those levels is shiverfest.

Maybe not what you're looking for, but Soma gave me goosebumps, and not just because it's a horror game lol The story itself, the characters, and the atmosphere were what got to me, the spoops were a bonus.
