Question about Steam bundles

I have a question about the bundle deals you see on Steam.

If you have some of the games in a bundle, are you still charged for them even though you can't use them or are the costs of those games removed from the overall cost?

Asking this because I see a decent bundle but I own about half the stuff already in it.

The price is a fixed rate. It doesn't matter if you own any or all of the games.

Thanks, it is for the Quakecon bundle, but I literally own about half the thing.

You don't get extra copies of games you already own and you pay full price. There are only a few games where you will get extra copies, they are listed here:
