I recall trying to activate my original CD-key through Origin and it not working. Perhaps it had already been created and used by some key generator. It also didn't work for Gun Club.

But if asking them in support about giving digital copy of Mass Effect 1 and u giving key as a proof, they add it in Origin. But I'm asking 3 times to add BF1942 in Origin. No digital copies.

Everything that came out after 2009 will activate on Origin.
Currently they are working on making activation for older games possible but this takes time.

Its the full game but somehow it counts as a demo cause I didn't get an order confirmation. I guess they could easily remove it from everyone that got it for free like this.
