Surely if you own the games already you can earn them still? Same as any other removed games?

Yes, that's what I meant. I only own Sonic 2, 1 is also part of the collection's achievements. Sonic CD has no achievements.

I would think you can still get the achievements. I have several delisted/removed for sale games that I got the achievements for after they were removed. The only ones I am not able to get are for achievements that require access to no longer existing online servers for multi-player.

Whenever a company removes the original version of a game to resell it in a different package it always sounds like desperation. As if it wasn't humiliating enough for SEGA that fans make better sonic games, they now make this terrible business decisions on projects they wouldnt even have without Whitehead and alike. What a joke of a company

It's bad practice I don't understand it other than they want to force people to buy a certain version, at higher cost. Some people want all versions or different versions.
