Just a warning that there is a minimum price for certain payment types. I used Amazon payments which has a minimum of $0.06 (not that this mattered). Credit cards have min of $0.20

If I had to guess, it probably is similar to Humble Widget. At times, those tend to be cheaper than their Humble Store counterparts.

I think it depends on where you have your BTC wallet hosted (or if you're hosting it yourself). I got mine at Coinbase. Until a few months ago, they even used to pay those fees for me (I wonder if Xapo still does) and if the transaction is Coinbase-to-Coinbase it's still free. Unfortunately most merchants (including Humble) use bitpay. I only bought something like a few weeks ago (exactly when Valve changed their Steamgift policy ... so how long ago was that? 3 weeks one month maybe?) and I was surprised that the network fee was higher as if paying with Paypal (which has some fixed $0.60 fee for that particular merchant), but it wasn't more than $0.80.
EDIT: I also read here that you can roughly estimate the fee with 0.0002BTC/kB ... I think it's safe to say, that a 4 cent transaction is somewhere near the minimum send amount if it's even possible to send at all, which means the fee would be around $0.50 at the current BTC-price. Still a very bad deal compared to Paypal/CC.
