Sorry if this is in the incorrect area or if this should not go on SteamGifts. I just thought a lot of people might benefit from this.

Sorry to bother you all with a LONG post, but I found a way to get a 1060 6gb for pretty cheap. The 1060 6gb GPUs are kinda spendy, costing 238.88 or more according to Pcpartpicker.com, which doesn't even always include tax. That $240-250+ can be difficult on people. So I found a way for people new to Jet.com to get the Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB Mini Video Card for around $200, including tax (my total is 201.00 even).

  1. Look up this GPU on PCPartpicker.com. It should say the lowest price is around $240 for it.
  2. Add the item to a parts list and make sure you are on the parts list page.
  3. Towards the top-right of the page, click on "Price Breakdown By Merchant", which should direct you to a new page with all your preferred merchants listed.
  4. Scroll down to Jet.com. Look at the GPU sold by that merchant. The price stated should be about $10 higher than the lowest. This is fine. Click "buy". This will direct you to Jet's page.
  5. Add the GPU to your cart on this page and click on the "View Cart" icon on the bottom right.
  6. Click on Register/Create a new account on the top right of the page and create a new Jet account. This should be pretty simple.
  7. Log back onto Jet if asked and go back to your cart by clicking on the cart icon on the top right of the page.
  8. You may have to scroll down slightly to see the promo code box on the right hand side. We will be using this TWICE and order matters.
  9. Click on the promo code box and enter, without quotes, "TRIPLE15". This gives you 15% off your first three orders at this site, up to $30 off total. Click "Apply" right next to the box.
  10. Once that goes through, refresh the page (I don't think you have to do this, but I do to be safe).
  11. Scroll back down (if needed) to get to the promo code box again and enter "FEBCARD20" without quotes. This takes $20 off this particular GPU. Click "Apply" again and start checkout once successfully applied. Fairly straightforward. After tax, your total should be close to $200, saving you almost $40 from the cheapest PCPartpicker.com has to offer.
  12. ???
  13. Profit.

I hope this was easy enough to understand While I cannot afford to go through checkout because I am too broke, I wanted to make sure people know about this. Money can be tight when making a desktop or upgrading your GPU. Figured I would share the love.

Please simply delete this page or something if this is not supposed to be here.
