official the developer/publisher has to ask all key selling stores to return all UNSOLD keys
and he has to REVOKE all these keys he got back.
according to steam partner its not allowed to keep the keys sold outside when game is removed.

some do it like it should be (so only ban the UNSOLD keys, not USED and not UNUSED ones)
some dev... also ban UNused keys.

you paid for the key, so normal its a sold one.
but some developer revoking keys nowadays after a specifiy time.
for example fanatical only guarantee key working for i think 2 months? so if you "reveal" it and its dupe or banned... well.. shit happend.
some developer also revoke unactivated keys that are sold (see above) so reveal and store them also no good idea nowadays ...

And if you only own the base game and you want to buy all DLC, it's cheaper to remove the base game from the account before buying the Complete Edition. The CE ia about 3€ cheaper than all DLC. And it's not a complete your collection bundle.

I sometimes see in my timeline a spike of people buying a certain game, to find they are getting removed, and i am a collector too in that aspect, so i thought why not create a special thread for it, so other people can know too?
This thread is only going to be about agames facing direct pending deletion on concrete information, not speculations on possible licensing stuff, there are other places for that. By all means if you find something with concrete info about a pending deletion, let me know so i can add it.
When i started this, for months 1-2 weeks could go by without even 1 removal, now it's daily. :p
