I'd have to say Don't Starve.

It just has this charm that I have yet to see in any other game of this type.

Don't Starve is piece of art. You will love the design, sounds etc. But i have to admit i did not played Rust yet. Just saw few videos. And Don't Starve is way cheaper. You can get it for 3 or 4 Tf2 keys from players who already bought it during sales.

They might be the same "type" of game but they're COMPLETELY different when you actually look at them.

I've had many, many hours of fun playing Don't Starve (I've had it since December 7th, 2012), but I have yet to play Rust and it looks like a ton of fun.

I heard "Fortix" is quite good too, so you could get that one instead.

I only have Don't Starve. I can attest that it is good.

Rust if you have friends, Don't Starve if you don't.

In most cases when you pay for early access you are not paying for a full game, you are paying for the promise of what the full game may be, do not buy early access unless you have disposable income. With that said you can always pick the game up upon it's release with the added benefit of seeing whether the game is something you actually want.

Don't Starve. Less wannabe serious universe but serious gameplay. The game is pure fun, the design is awesome, the music is nice and all characters are cool.

i'd have to agree with the majority and rcommend Don't Starve. I love its charm and art style and macabre humour. And the fact that it's not tainted with multiplayer. I hate multiplayer.

Rust and Don't Starve are not even close to being the same thing. The sales of Rust is like DayZ, because of it's hype. Rust is marketed as a survival game, but you will most likely die from other players before you die from hunger unless you have some friends who play it. If you want a good survival game, I suggest you get Don't Starve. It's cheaper too.

Im planning on Buying RUST very soon. Dont starve is very good.. BUt these are similar "ideas" of a game, but are different.

Don't Starve. One of the best indie games ever.

I'd definitely go for Don't Starve!

Rust in my opinion because as development continues it will just get better and better. That's just my thought on it though.
