Sending Serial Keys

I was wondering if there was a way to send serial keys when you make a giveaway, without first adding the person then waiting for them to add you and then sending them a private message. The one time I won a game on my "view won" page it showed the name of the item I won with a serial key right beside the item's name, and this was for a give away that was doing multiple copies.

How did they make it so that the serial key would appear right beside where it says the item I won?

That was a special case that cg made just for that. It can be sent via email otherwise.

The staff has stated that they do not want to store keys on the server.

Yeah, when i won the faerie solitaire game, the key appeared next to the won message. When i gave away a key, i had to email it to the winner, wish i knew how to just make it appear next to the win message.

Ok Thanks I understand now. I was just worried if I did just send it through email they might never check their e-mail or something and not get it.
