Buying Steam Gifts (SEA)

Hi, I was thinking of putting up games for giveaways in the future but I have the problem of the games I buy as gifts being region locked. Is there anyway I can get around this fact and make it easier so anyone who wins a giveaway I create can actually play the game they win without restriction?

There is an option when creating a giveaway to select if the gift is region restricted, and to select what region it is.

Does that make the giveaway non-accessible to a larger user base if they're not in that region? Or can they still enter it despite knowing the region-restrictions?

Yes, only users from that region will be able to enter, and you'll need at least 5 entries to earn CV from that giveaway, even if public.

You can create a region-restricted giveaway, or buy ROW keys from outside of Steam such as Humble Bundle and BundleStars.
