3325 on Team Fortress 2, a lot of which has been sent on AFK servers just idling for loot. :P

Sunless Sea - 300 hours - Mostly from dead captains and restarting new games.Meeting all the conditions to unlock a whole story event can require multiple new game+. Love coming up with new survival strategies or knowing when to let my captain retire to start a new one.
Death Road to Canada - 167 hours - What keeps me coming back every year has been all the new free content added. New characters, new items, new areas. Holiday only events/characters as well when you play the game on Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving. Love that game ;)

Dota 2 - 1788 hours. Haven't played it for a while now.
Seconded by Borderlands 2 GOTY with 144 hours
Quite the ramp of hours between the two, haha.

TF2 541 Hours
Agents of Mayhem 198 Hours
Dead By Daylight 165 Hours
FFXI is almost 11000 but Steam never tracked it. I also have no idea how I played Agents of Mayhem that much.. it's not exactly amazing

Europa Universalis IV, with 1,548 hours and counting. I think I'm starting to get the hang of it...

I actually haven't looked at this in a long long time. I'm going to list several..
I have an Idle game as the game with the most hours. It's a great Idle game but still an Idle game - Idle Champions Of The Forgotten Realms with 1,300+ hours. If you are looking for an idle game, I strongly recommend this especially if you have any interest in D&D.
The real number 1 is Marvel Heroes which lists the time at 915 hours. I played Marvel Heroes long before I played it on Steam though and if I'm not mistaken my total game time is around 1,300+ hours like Idle Champions. Great game and great community even with the ups and downs. RIP Marvel Heroes :(
Marvel Puzzle Quest actually has only 2 hours less than Marvel Heroes, but this had a lot of afk time logged on as well though. Really good puzzle game that I played my ass off on. I was in a few of the top PVE guilds.
The Elder Scrolls Legends is number 4 with 630 hours. I played this for many hours on the Bethesda launcher before it even came to steam. Great card game. Very generous free 2 play model. Easily worth checking out.

It's an idle "clicker" type of game. Idle Champions is more of a formation management game than a clicker though with a decent amount of features not in other games in the genre. You can run it in the background if you want or present if you like. The progress moves your characters forward through areas even if you aren't present, you just need to make sure your characters are leveled(which you can actually do with pets if you have any) and the formation is one that will help you progress. I actually didn't care for clicker games at all, but the formation management and other features the game has it kinda hooked me.

Oh yeah there's definitely strategy to it. It's actually the deepest strategy idle clicker games I've ever seen before.. it might be the deepest on the market today.

Fallout 4 = 627 Hrs. As well at the other 3.
But most of my gaming was prior to Steam or non Steam,
Mass Effect (all 3) (played through at least 3x)
The Elder Scrolls. Oblivion and Skyrim.
Borderlands all.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. all 3.
Quake and Doom.
In my Commodore 64 days, Temple of Apshai

Minus idling, it'd be Maplestory 2 (450 hours) when I played with friends, then Skyrim (370 hours), Fallout New Vegas might've been next if I had it on steam before. Maplestory 1 would've lead over a thousand hours if I ran it on steam instead of Nexon's own launcher.

Sunless Sea, 75 hours!
Most of the games I buy can be finished in 10 hours or fewer.

Yes, but that doesn't mean you HAVE to finish in that little amount of time. Pretty sure that those 10 hour or less games still have side things or mini games in them. Plus, replay-ability adds in too.

To be clear, when I say ten hours I mean ten hours of taking my time, doing all the side quests and enjoying myself, not a race to the finish. In fact, I frequently go the completionist route, especially when there are multiple endings involved. Most indie games just aren't that long.

The Elder Scrolls Online at 1560 hrs followed by the defunct game Marvel Heroes Omega at 653 hrs

Warframe - 534 hours

Frost(something) fall? was an awesome one too. the cold water blizzards etc were nasty with that. (Assuming you didn't fast travel, as I oh so rarely did) Had some thunder mod that was cool too. Course I also had all the CBBE bodies, Sylvanus, a bunch of cool houses etc.
Kind of making me want to play again LoL

I want my life back. :(
Edit- Posting this GA again for those that might have missed it due to the loss of the last topic.
