Your experience with Steam forums "x" game?

There are a lot of games on steam: it's obvious that fanboys and people who want to buy / are dissapointed of what they bought will be the ones to visit a certain game comunity page because... do you really need some sort of explanation for this? I visit wotr "forums" the most and there everyone wants a certain aspect of the game to be nerfed.

I was replying to the Fez thread that Phil Fish was commenting on. It was fun since it was full of immature kiddies insulting Phil Fish and saying the game sucked.

90 percent of the people on the steam forums are either people that love the game or people that hate the game. If you're pretty indifferent to the game, you don't really go on the forum. Because of that, almost all threads devolve into shouting matches between people that have a complaint (legitimate or otherwise) and people that think any negative comments count as trolling.

It's incredibly annoying that whenever you post about a bug and ask for help, half of the responses are "No problem here! I don't know what OP is talking about." and the other half just uses that bug as ammunition in why the game and the developer suck.

Edit: Oh, and don't even get me started on early access game forums. If you value your sanity, you'll steer clear of those.

People on Steam Forums(SPUF) are pretty cool. However, it's a completely different story on Steam Discussions.
