I know this is totally offtopic from STEAMGIFTS, but I really need your help :). I want to buy a new phone, and I can't decide which one to choose: The Samsung Galaxy S3 or the HTC One X.

I will start by presenting some facts:
•Both phones obviously have a lot of processing power, both are kind of the same at this part.
•The price does not matter that much, because they cost about the same.

In case you don't know what I'm talking about, please look at this before you vote: http://i.imgur.com/F8crN.png

Feel free to leave comments, and please vote here (it really helps me): http://poll.pollcode.com/tcs7gk

Please argument your decision :)

I know, I'm kinda like a LG hater... their products have indeed a fair price, but the quality is one of the poorest out there. Again, this is just my opinion.

Sorry but LG is one of my favorite companies, everything I ever owned by them including phones were excellent and NEVER broke.

I would say SIII, and that's what I'm gonna buy most likely in the near future, because unlike the One X you can insert a microSD card, which I'd use to store my music.

S3. If you really want to get a phone without SD card slot and replaceable battery just get an iPhone.

It's not all about the freakin' SD CARD...I can work with 16GB....and the replaceable battery doesn't matter that much because I surely will change my phone until this year ends.

I've been using the S2 for a year or so, pretty happy with it. Prefer it to the iPhone I had before. Thinking of a new one myself. Initially thought about the S3 but now thinking the Note 2 looks pretty good. Also read good things about the Butterfly.
I don't think the Phablets are much bigger to be honest.

I swear, I'm over 1.80M tall and I can't fit a Galaxy Note into my pocket...and from what I know, the Note2 is even larger.

OP, you did an excellent job with the breakdown of pros and cons. I liked this thread. Voted for the Black One X. I'm a big believer in build quality.

Edit: SHIT. Discount my vote. Didn't realize the black one was HTC. HTC battery life sucks a big fat cock.

The retarded part is that HTC says that the One X has a "phantom-core" that is used to save energy, yet...on youtube everyone is complaining about battery life.

I would get One X, just for HTC Sense which is pretty cool. Samsung's Touchwiz suck donkey balls.

And im saying this from my personal experience as i own both HTC and Samsung devices.
