There is a thread explaining it, let me find it... here.
Basically, 1P = 1$, when a giveaway is created, all members get 10% of the giveaway game's value and it costs the game's value to enter the giveaway to win it. The point-system is still being discussed and refined, but currently extra points are not awarded for hosting giveaways; only the globally-awarded 10%-giveaway value is the "Points" income.
Edit: Somebody replied to me and removed their comment once they realised their mistake; however I will edit this post because it is not clear: 1P = $1 when it comes to entering giveaways, so a $40 game would cost 40P to enter; however when that $40 game was added to the site, everybody was awarded 4P.
I forgot who it was, but please don't be ashamed for your comment; I was not clear.

in short, whenever someone creates a giveaway, 10% of that game's price in $ (rounded up) is added to everyone's accounts in points.
the cap is currently at 300 points to keep people active.

So.. I'm not sure if there's some sort of official message about this somewhere. I seem to have missed it's introduction, can someone explain to me how the points work? Do you earn points for hosting giveaways?
Thanks
