Not happy about the origin keys, but the 3 games I do want justify the price. Pacific Drive, Homeworld 3, and Cavern Of Dreams. The other 3 look alright too.

If I hadn't picked up Pacific Drive a few months ago, it may have been worth it just for that... but man. Two bad months in a row. fuck those origin keys

Important Question about Homeworld 3: Was anyone's key just 3 sets of five numbers and letters?
Every single key I've seen has had 4 or 5 sets of five numbers/letters, so I was very confused when I got a key with 3 sets for this game.
Has anyone else gotten one like this? If so, does it work (I didn't test it myself because I'm giving it away)?

Are you maybe misremembering? I looked through my entire list of won giveaways and they all were 3 sets of characters. There are other formats but this is standard

My brain is playing a really mean trick on me. I could've swear 4 sets was the default.
But yeah they're all 3 sets, I just checked. Idk how I forgot that after claiming over 100 keys.
It's actually starting to scare me how much I've been forgetting things, sorry :(

Yeah it is. I straight up misremembered it somehow, even though I've seen so many keys.
But to be fair, the "Activate a Product on Steam" (on the software, not browser) shows some examples of keys, and none of them has 3 sets. Maybe that contributed for this sort of mandela effect I just felt.

Characters not included: OSU1
0 and O are interchangeable, 5 and S are interchangeable, I and 1 are interchangeable

3 Origin, 3 EGS and 2 games from steam with mixed reviews. It seems harder and harder for them to get enough keys for games and make deals with devs

You reminded me that I named Pacific Drive as a specific example for a game I'd never buy but via a bundle. 😅

In my case it's not about discipline but about appreciation. Kepler's next game in the pipeline is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. And that one looks so promising, everything about it. If the final game should live up to the expectations, I won't mind buying it. Even if it ends up in a bundle later.

This is my main point with purchasing games outside of bundles.
A combination of appreciation and the will of playing a game right now.
This past years I didn't buy many games on release. But even though one is going to be included on bundles (many times if past is an indicator) I bought it anyway, and the priciest edition, even. Civilization VII. That will give me hundred of hours through the coming years. And I know that in 5 years I could buy it complete for 10 or 20€, but I want it now.
Another one on release day: UFO 50. A few hours played, but I think it's a good purchase.
And a (small number of) other games also bought on release or close.

Except that they giving away Origin Game (two games this time!!!!), again, how they put a game that is rated too low? Very too low? almost for garbage?
I mean for Homeworld 3!!!! Or am i missing something?

Homeworld 3 has more bad reviews than positive ones. Personally I would still be curious to play it, but Humble Choice only provides the base game... and to have the full game there is still a Year One Pass to buy ($19; 3 DLCs)... so I'm skipping this month too.
Also, for a recent game, almost no one plays it. It had an average of 30 simultaneous players in the last few months (and this number includes solo players) so multiplayer is probably almost dead. That said, its presence in Humble Choice created a small peak of... 72 players! https://steamdb.info/app/1840080/charts/

Yes, they keep doing this crap for a while now, putting incomplete games in Humble Choice. Sometimes it's fine as there's no actual game content missing, but other times you end up with a useless key, as upgrading to the complete version is often more expensive than buying the complete version. Some people say it's ridiculous to complain about this considering the asking price, but then again is like they've wasted one of the slots for the bundle. This time around they've pushed it even further with 2 slots allocated for Origin keys and for some another 2 re-bundles.

You gotta be effing kidding me, not one but two origin keys, guess I'm gonna skip this month

I woke up in the morning, picked up my smartphone, and checked an email from Humble Bundle.
Inside the email, I saw the words "Pacific Drive." It was the best wake-up experience ever.
Then, I looked at the other titles. There were several with "Origin keys" written on them.
Suddenly, a wave of drowsiness hit me, and I went back to sleep...
