Can anyone help me with Aquaria?

Allright, before anyone calls me out for being lame and that cheating is bad and all that jazz, let me just state that I always prefer to earn my victories in games, no matter how hard they are. And I'm not asking for something like a 100% save file or anything of the sort. But this game made me want to ask for a save file for the first time in my life.

I had this game up on my PC last year, and then my hard drive died. I made my way through the game up until the point where I met Li, but ultimately had to find out that this game does not have a Steam Cloud support, nor does it save in the documents and settings folder, so I completely lost it. I shrugged it off in the summer and started playing it again, but shortly after I made it to that jungle-like place, I had to format my other HD and lost that save too. This time around, I started it again and genuinely don't feel like doing all that crap all over again, so I'm asking anyone out there who haven't completed the game but made his way up to the point of meeting Li, to share it with me, if it's not a problem. I killed 15 hours into it so far and while it's not a lot, it went straight down the drain...

Anyone can help a fellow fairy? I'd love to finish this game already, but at this pace it's a Sisyphusian effort for me...
