A question about SGtools protected giveaways

Not sure if I'll be able to explain my question properly but I'm gonna try anyways.

So everyone knows how SGtools protected giveaways works - you click the link, check if you pass the requirements set by the giveaway creator and if you do you get the link to the giveaway which you may then enter.

My question is: if you pass an sgtools check when the giveaway starts but something changes in your stats (maybe your real cv drops for example) when it ends are you still able to win the game you entered in through sgtools? What would a giveaway creator do in that scenario? Do they even have the option to do anything besides give you the game? After all you did get the link to their invite only giveaway legitimately. Maybe I'm reading into it to much but I'm genuinely curious if you're still able to win?

Either way thanks to everyone for your time and have this giveaway (of a game I didn't know how I had) for checking out the thread.

If you're in at one point, you're in. Same thing like you can enter a GA at lvl 5 drop to 4 after entering and then win it. I'm not so sure on what the creator can do in this case though. I think they just give the game

doesn't SGtools keep a history of the ones you have passed? I would think you would be OK as long as the creator can see you did pass

I was told that even in a normal level restricted giveaway when your level drops below the required level the creator can do a reroll.

If you passed the rule check in the first place and are on the valid entries list, then yes your entry is valid.
However if you dropped a level and no longer meet the level requirement of the giveaway, the giveaway creator can request a reroll.

The creator might question what happened (if it isn't obvious, like a new win lowering your ratio) but as long as it wasn't a technical problem with steamgifts it should not be rerolled. Contrary to what I saw in another reply, I'm fairly certain you CAN get a reroll if it's clearly a problem with steamgifts, cause I did get a reroll for someone having an wrong level due to a price bug.

EDIT: Damn, I should learn to type faster, support already answered :P
