A few days ago I put up three giveaways, and two out of the three people didn't redeem the games. Maybe I should have seen that coming with both of them having 25-32 gifts won, with 1 giveaway created. ._. Both of them have come online within the past 24 hours, but they haven't redeemed the games at all. Should I just select a new winner for the giveaways? They're both shady and I didn't think about people giving the keys to other accounts or trying to resell the keys beforehand so I don't know if I'll get a black mark if I now try to give away a key that's potentially a duplicate... I'm really stupid and dug myself into a hole with this so I don't know what to do. ><

It's not true at all. I have activated all the games that I have won (you can see it manually), but this link says that I didn't activated all :/

On the contrary, checking your account with SGTools shows no non-activated gifts.

They have one week to mark it as received, don't worry! Also make sure to check for inactivated wins before sending the game.

Alrighty, I will have to check for that in the future to avoid this. Thank you for the advice.

Alright, I kind of freaked out but I'll be sure to read all of that and I'll contact them if they still haven't activated it in a couple days. Thank you so much. >_<

Sometimes they just don't care. There are users who just click to enter literally everything, but when they win and realise that the game doesn't even have cards, they just don't bother to get it or even say they don't want it. There aren't many weeks where I don't have to chase around some winner to get their gift finally if they won it.
Assuming the dear user didn't ran away with the key to sell or regift it. It is advised to check the winners for such behaviour. If they have a record of just yanking the keys, you can ask the staff for forced received feedback if you provide evidence you sent it.

Thanks for letting me know I could just have the mods force that. >_< One of these games even did have cards, but it's still not being redeemed. :\ I'll have to try and check people more carefully in the future.

You'll get used to just checking winners beforehand. :) (And, well, to dread a .ru in a winner's email addressโ€ฆ)

Doing puzzles and/or making it bit more difficult for people to enter does cut down on the "chasing" aspect. However, if you're into doing public GA's, I've heard that adding winners on Steam and giving them the key there cuts down on "unredeemed" wins. Me, well I've stopped chasing people down and just wait the seven days... I know it's frustrating but unfortunately that's just the way it is. Some peeps are good about marking wins and others are not. But as others have mentioned, definitely check SG Tools before sending any key....

just saying... the higher the level you put in your ga, the less issues you will run into. :3

anyway, remember winners have 7 days to mark as received and activate their games. if that doesn't happen you can ask for a reroll (it's risky if they saw the game key, because they can activate it at any time -.- ).
