The title pretty much says it. So I have the habit of scrolling down to the comments when the video loads, but I keep having the problem that the video becomes smaller when scrolling down and bigger when scrolling up whenever I have my cursor on the video itself. This really annoys me, since it also makes small black bars on the sides of the video for some reason, makes my suggestions go up a bit right next to the upload button, and worst of all it shoves my watch later playlist from the right of the video immediately to the middle of the video, which makes it pretty much unwatchable. This has been happening since 2 days. Is this a youtube update, a google chrome update, a bug, or something with my extentions maybe? I tried restarting chrome and restarting the computer. Any help please? Thanks for reading. EDIT: this still hasn't been solved. I cleared the cache and searched the option list. Didn't work. This sux :/

I think the default command to zoom in and out is ctrl+mouse wheel. Try checking the options and see if something went wrong.

Bop it. Twist it. Pull it.

Try clearing your cache on Chrome to see if it works.

Joke> Stop pinching your screen!
Tip> Use the down arrow instead of wheel or scroll with cursor out of the video window,it's so hard to skip the problem?

Just move the mouse outside the video window and you will get back your super power!

Are you using a touchpad that has motion commands available for zooming in? Cause it's definitely not a youtube thing. Although with chrome I've found that it tells you if you're zoomed in on the upper right hand corner.

It's just the video that zooms in, not the entire page. Google chrome also doesn't show that it's a 125% or something. It's not the same as normal Ctrl + scroll.

it probably thinks your keyboard has the ctrl button pressed down (happens on occasion to mine), how i fix it is i just unplug it then replug it in and press whichever button was being affected and the problem is fixed

Work it. Flex it. Pull it. Drop it.

Play some skrillex over it. That should make it more entertaining.

You should open any Spice Girls music video on Youtube and lick the screen 3 times. It's standard operating procedure.

It's an option you can enable/disable in Youtube options (Chrome extension). Make sure to open the advanced options.

I use this addon and experienced what OP described (but I actually liked it haha), so you might want to check out those addon settings OP (meaning unclick this one: "Change viewing size (and volume) with the mouse scroll-wheel").
