The whole idea is to give you a way to give games away to a large community. You can, of course, also participate in raffles, but you don't get anything for giving your games away, except for maybe a warm fuzzy feeling.

You can't put your "own" games on the site, you have to buy a game as a gift copy to give it away.

Sure, the money that goes towards the videogames we, gifters, purchase to giveaway could easily be given away to hungry africans and sick children, or even spent on ourselves. But, well, I'm a gamer and I like games. And it's gratificating to know that someone that might not be able to afford a videogame will get a chance to enjoy it.
