Revenge porn's definitely illegal in halfpart of the US. And you often need to have explicit content of the parties involved if you are going to post a video or whatever in most of the world. Not to mention the whole lot of issues that could derive if someone was a minor.

In Canada to distribute any kind of naked or shaming image of a person you must first get written consent and have proof they were an adult at the time the image was taken. Breach of either can get you hit by a cyber bullying law that is complete bullshit. It is a 5 grand fine and six months in prison to violate the law.
Before that law, about 6ish years ago, Canada's military began a serious campaign of terror against men who, while serving, lose their girlfriends and then post the nudes on an ex-board. Guys were being hit with all kinds of extra work combined with loss of rank and such, no removal from the service that I read or heard about, because the military needs every body with a pulse it can get.
