Though choice...I love the Ark gameplay, but on the other hand Conan has boobies (x_x)

I know Conan added content since I last played but I found Ark better. Both are decent though, paid for both (EA on Conan) no regrets

I don't wanna be "defending" Epic, but I have had none of the problems you mentioned while using it since the free games started. Might be specific to something on your system

It used to happen to me. If the launcher frozes, try to not force close it or it will ask you for verification (can't remember how but fixed it like a year ago or so). About the verification email, yeah it always take a while to be sent, so that's normal.

Try clearing your cache, it has helped me :)

Clear your launcher’s web cache

• Exit the Epic Games Launcher by right-clicking on the system tray icon in the bottom-right corner, and then click Exit.
• Press Windows key + R and type “%localappdata%” to open a File Explorer window.
• Open the Epic Games Launcher folder.
• Open the Saved folder.
• Click the webcache folder, and then delete it.
• Restart your computer and start the Epic Games Launcher.

I also found out that certain anti-virus/web protection software such as Avira or Kaspersky interferes with the Epic Store, causing it to not be able to load certain parts of pages. A temporary exception for epicgames.com / .epicgames.com / .unrealengine.com might show if this is the case.

because if they want to do that for a week . no one will ever buy it on other platforms other than those who are comitted to steam ..

It's the Total War franchise's 20th Bday so they thought it would be a kool idea to do a 1 day promo for the game.

You basically answer your own question: this seems such an insane move, but actually is a great way to spread awareness for the franchise far and wide, and get new players involved who otherwise would not buy this kind of game.

came to look for news on this. I was waiting for Conan Exiles as well, cos i heard it's Open World MMO style. Sad to see it removed

People on twitter are still mad about the delay of Escapists 2 and now the next one already?
They also tweeted today that the new Trackmania has been temporary delayed on EGS for some reason. At least people can play it on Uplay at the moment.

Are they working on some big store update that leads to those issues or do they just not really care? (￣ω￣;)

I am curious also to see how many games i can get. But at the beggining it was like a joke ow it is quite an impressive library of games!!!

The game is having some pretty bad stability issues and that's more than likely the reason it was pulled.

The Epic Games Store team has decided that Conan Exiles will not be free, but will be available for purchase on the store at a later date.

...with no actual reason given.

I just checked. It is missing now and the store shows that I don't own it. What the hell is going on? Are the freebies time limited ?

Odd. The website still shows it as "owned" for me, and it is also under Payment History in my account. Furthermore, the launcher allows me to install & it downloads...
