Thanks for the giveaway, not sure how helpful my answers are going to be though, seeing as I'm a resident of the US and not England/Europe.

Some of the questions lack some very important options like:

and

survey might be biased because i assume most of us pc gamers are tech-savvy

Thanks for the GY, next time you do this, might be good to put in a question asking if they are tech savy.

I used to build and repair them for a living and used to get the PCs and console systems from Bestbuy and the local GameStops as I could fix stuff they couldn't. I only ever paid a repair man once over a decade ago and that was just for a second opinion over a faulty CPU as I had no way to test it myself at the time.

I just got the fan of my wife's laptop cleaned. Description of opening the Inspiron 1720 made it look very complicated, and after spending 2+ hours cleaning the fan of a Radeon 5850 recently I preferred to give it to someone else to clean.
